It's was Fox's turn to take the Hall H stage at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Saturday night, and they brought their superhero big guns with them for the event in the form of X-Men: Apocalypse, Fantastic Four reboot, and the Merc with a Mouth himself, Deadpool.
It was the latter that really got the crowd going bonkers, perhaps even eliciting the biggest response of the entire convention when a brutally violent and funny---as it should be---preview of the movie was shown. The trailer got a standing ovation followed by a "one more time!" chant forcing them to play it a second time.
“It's only been 11 years in the making,” said star Ryan Reynolds, who was on hand for the event. "One year ago, it was some asshole who released the footage onto the internet.” And here we are.
